The Account Attributes endpoint provides financial attributes for an individual Account.
The attributes returned depend on the account's liability type (credit card, personal loan, mortgage, auto loan, or student loan).

**The Account Attributes endpoint is available as a:**

| Type | Use-Case |
| - | - |
| `Product` | On-Demand view of an Account's financial attributes. |
| `Subscription` | Continuous monitoring of an Account's financial attributes with near real-time updates. [Webhook Payload](#webhook-payload) |

<Note>
  To enroll an Account, create an `attribute` subscription via
  [Create a Subscription](/2026-03-30/reference/accounts/subscriptions/create).
  The subscription is available for credit card, personal loan, mortgage, auto loan, and student loan accounts.
</Note>

## Attribute Bundles

A **bundle** is a named group of attributes you can request together instead of
listing each attribute individually. Request one or more bundles with the `bundles`
field on [Create Attributes](/2026-03-30/reference/accounts/attributes/create) or when enrolling
an `attribute` [Subscription](/2026-03-30/reference/accounts/subscriptions/create). When you
request a bundle, the response's `attributes` object is scoped to that bundle's members.

### The `statement` bundle

The `statement` bundle returns the upcoming-statement attributes for an Account — the
borrower's next payment due date and the minimum amount due. It is available for all
supported account types (credit card, personal loan, mortgage, auto loan, and student loan).

| Attribute | Value Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `next_payment_due_date` | string | The Account's next payment due date, as `YYYY-MM-DD`. If the reported due date has already passed, it is rolled forward to the next occurrence of that day of the month. |
| `next_payment_minimum_amount` | number | The minimum amount due for the upcoming statement, in cents. Returns `0` when the reported balance is zero or less. |

<Note>
  Values sourced from credit report data — or carried forward from a prior statement —
  are estimates and are flagged with `metadata.estimated` set to `true`.
</Note>

### The Wallet Intelligence bundle

**Bundle name:** `wallet_intelligence`

The bundle returns per-card wallet intelligence for an Account: where the card sits
in the consumer's wallet, how its utilization is trending, and what the card is for. The full set is available for
**credit card accounts**. Other liability types return only the members they support: `utilization`
for personal loans, auto loans, student loans and most other types. Mortgages return no members at
all, because `utilization` is the only one they could carry and mortgages do not report that
attribute — HELOC mortgages expose `heloc_utilization` instead, which is not part of this bundle.

The bundle is also available on the [Entity Attributes endpoint](/2026-03-30/reference/entities/attributes/overview),
where it returns the wallet-wide members instead of these per-card ones.

| Attribute | Value Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `usage_pattern` | string | The usage pattern of the card. Possible values are `revolver`, `transactor`, `dormant`, and `closed`. |
| `utilization` | number | The utilization percentage of the account. |
| `utilization_bucket` | string | Point-in-time utilization band, evaluated as non-overlapping ranges: `over_limit` (above 100%), `near_limit` (above 95%, up to and including 100%), `high` (above 80%, up to and including 95%), `medium` (50% up to and including 80%), and `low` (below 50%). |
| `purchasing_power` | number | Available credit on the card, in cents. Uses source-backed available credit when present, returned unchanged, and otherwise falls back to credit limit minus balance. A negative value is returned only when that fallback applies to an over-limit card, or when the source itself reports one — a maxed-out card whose issuer reports `0` returns `0`. The same value as `available_credit_limit`, under the name Wallet Intelligence publishes. |
| `utilization_velocity_4_week` | string | Utilization trend over the trailing 4 weeks: `rapidly_increasing`, `increasing`, `stable`, `decreasing`, `rapidly_decreasing`, or `new_account` when the card is younger than the window's cutoff. |
| `utilization_velocity_8_week` | string | 8-week utilization trend (same enum as 4-week). |
| `utilization_velocity_12_week` | string | 12-week utilization trend (same enum as 4-week). |
| `spend_concentration_4_week` | number | The card's share of the wallet's total balance, averaged over weekly samples of the trailing 4 weeks. A percentage to two decimal places — a card holding 41.37% of the wallet's balance returns `41.37`. |
| `spend_concentration_8_week` | number | The same share averaged over the trailing 8 weeks. |
| `spend_concentration_12_week` | number | The same share averaged over the trailing 12 weeks. |
| `current_wallet_rank` | number | The card's rank within the wallet by 4-week spend concentration, where `1` is the most concentrated. |
| `weeks_since_last_activity` | string | Weeks since the card's balance last changed, in uniform 4-week bands: `under_4_wks`, `4_to_8_wks`, `8_to_12_wks`, `12_to_16_wks`, `16_to_20_wks`, `20_to_24_wks`, or `24_plus_wks`. |
| `recent_balance_spike_flag` | boolean | Whether the card's balance recently jumped: the current balance is at least 1.5x a balance from 5–21 days earlier, and the increase is worth at least 5% of the credit limit. |
| `account_age` | number | Months since the card's open date. |
| `brand_category` | string | Primary card benefit category: `travel`, `dining`, `groceries`, `cash_back_flat`, `cash_back_varied`, `retail`, `credit_builder`, or `other`. |
| `brand_tier` | string | Product tier inferred from annual fee, the presence of rewards, and network tier as a fallback: `lux`, `premium`, `plus`, `basic`, or `credit_builder`. |
| `optimal_charge_date` | string | Suggested next charge date for the card (`YYYY-MM-DD`). *Coming soon.* |

<Note>
  Spend concentration and wallet rank are computed across every credit card Method holds for the
  same individual, not only the accounts your team has connected. A card is ranked only when at
  least half of its window's weekly samples are available, and cards that cannot be measured are
  left out of the ranking rather than placed last. Both attributes return an insufficient data
  error for a card held jointly, since the wallet it belongs to is ambiguous.
</Note>

<Note>
  `weeks_since_last_activity` infers a change from two balance observations that disagree. A card
  whose balance has not moved anywhere in its visible history returns an insufficient data error
  rather than a lower bound.
</Note>

<Note>
  Wallet Intelligence is in active development. Contact your Method CSM for availability and early-access
  enrollment.
</Note>

## Available Attributes by Account Type

The attributes returned depend on the account's liability type.
Requesting attributes for an unsupported account type will return a `400` error.

### Credit Card Accounts

| Attribute | Value Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `type` | string | The liability type of the account. |
| `usage_pattern` | string | The usage pattern of the account (e.g., revolver, transactor, dormant). |
| `delinquency_flag` | string | Credit card delinquency status. Possible values are `on_time` and `overdue`. |
| `utilization` | number | The utilization percentage of the account. |
| `utilization_trend_30d` | string | Direction of utilization change over the last 30 days. |
| `utilization_trend_90d` | string | Direction of utilization change over the last 90 days. |
| `utilization_delta_30d` | number | Percentage point change in utilization over the last 30 days. |

| `delinquency_recently_cured_flag` | boolean | Whether bureau data indicates delinquency while a recent sync update indicates the account is on time. |
| `delinquency_worst_dpd_bucket` | string | Worst delinquent period bucket for the account. Possible values are `30_dpd`, `60_dpd`, `90_dpd`, and `120_plus_dpd`. |
| `delinquency_progression_flag` | boolean | Whether the account's delinquent period worsened compared with a previous non-null period at least 7 days older, within a 90-day lookback. |
| `delinquent_outcome` | string | Account delinquent outcome. Possible values include `current`, `collections`, `charge_off`, `payment_agreement`, `chapter_13`, `chapter_7`, `bankruptcy`, `repossession`, `foreclosure`, and `wage_garnishment`. |
| `estimated_apr` | number | Estimated purchase APR for the account, as a percentage. |

<Note>
  Credit card accounts also return every [`wallet_intelligence`](#the-wallet-intelligence-bundle)
  member. They are listed once with the bundle rather than repeated here, and a request that supplies
  neither `bundles` nor `requested_attributes` returns them alongside the attributes above, as does
  any request naming them in `requested_attributes`.

### Direct Pay Attributes

Direct Pay attributes are added to completed Account Attribute responses. They are
not supported in v2 subscription `requested_attributes`.

| Attribute | Value Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `enrolled_in_direct_pay_previously` | boolean | Whether Method has completed at least one Direct Pay payment to the same liability. |
| `last_direct_pay_date` | string | ISO timestamp for the most recent completed Direct Pay activity. |
| `last_direct_pay_amount` | number | Amount of the most recent completed Direct Pay payment, in cents. |
| `number_of_direct_pay_in_12_months` | number | Number of completed Direct Pay payments in the trailing 365 days. |

## Attribute Value Notes

* Attribute values are returned in cents when the description says "in cents".
* `usage_pattern` returns `revolver`, `transactor`, `dormant`, or `closed`. Unknown or unavailable source values return `insufficient_data`.
* `delinquency_flag` returns `on_time` or `overdue`. Unknown or unavailable source values return `insufficient_data`.
* Boolean delinquency flags return `false` only when Method has usable non-delinquent data. If there is no usable signal, the attribute returns `null` with an insufficient data error.
* `delinquency_worst_dpd_bucket` maps `less_than_30` and `30` to `30_dpd`, `60` to `60_dpd`, `90` to `90_dpd`, and `120` or `over_120` to `120_plus_dpd`.
* `estimated_apr` is a percentage, not cents. It is computed for credit card accounts at supported issuers, and only for accounts that revolve a balance.
* Direct Pay attributes count Method payments with a completed status of `sent`, `posted`, `cashed`, or `settled`. If no completed Direct Pay payment exists, `enrolled_in_direct_pay_previously` is `false`, `number_of_direct_pay_in_12_months` is `0`, and the last payment date and amount return insufficient data.
